Convictions is operated by ConvictionMarkets, Inc. These standards protect minors and apply to every user and all content and conduct on Convictions, including convictions, comments, profiles, images, messages and groups. They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Age eligibility
Convictions is only for people aged 13 or older. Children under 13 must not create an account or use Convictions. Where applicable law requires a higher minimum age, that requirement also applies.
Convictions is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Users aged 13–17, or otherwise below the age of majority where they live, may use Convictions only with a parent’s or legal guardian’s permission and supervision, as required by our Terms. Give accurate age information and do not bypass age restrictions. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we promptly disable it and handle deletion of their personal information under our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Prohibited content and behavior
Nudity, pornography, sexually explicit content, violence and gore are not allowed on Convictions. This includes graphic injuries, violent threats, encouragement of violence, and content promoting harm to others or self-harm. These rules apply to uploaded material, links, generated imagery and other content shared through the service.
We also prohibit harassment, bullying, hate, exploitation, exposing a person’s private information to endanger them, and retaliation against anyone who reports a concern. Cred, recognition or other features must not be used to encourage prohibited behavior.
Child sexual abuse and exploitation
Convictions prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. Prohibited conduct includes grooming, inappropriate sexual interactions with minors, sexualizing minors, sexual solicitation, sextortion, and trafficking or exploiting a child for sexual purposes. Attempts to move this conduct off Convictions or evade our safety measures are also prohibited.
Creating, storing, uploading, requesting, promoting or sharing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) through Convictions is prohibited. This includes real, altered or computer-generated depictions that constitute CSAM. No user’s age, consent claim, account status or group privacy makes this material or conduct acceptable.
Reporting and blocking
Report concerning content or accounts using the available in-app Report controls. You can also open Settings → Legal → Report Abuse or email support@conviction-markets.com. Use the app’s Block controls to prevent unwanted interaction; blocked accounts can be managed under Settings → Safety → Blocked Accounts.
Tell us what happened and identify the relevant account, content or link. Do not download, copy, forward or attach suspected illegal child sexual abuse imagery to a report. Reports from users, parents, guardians and others are welcome.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Our support mailbox is not an emergency service.
Review and enforcement
We maintain ongoing moderation appropriate to the content and interactions on Convictions. We review reports, prioritize child-safety concerns, and act against violating content and accounts. Actions may include removing content, restricting access, suspending accounts or permanently removing accounts. Users must accept and follow our Terms and applicable policies before creating or sharing content.
When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM on Convictions, we remove or disable access to it and take appropriate action against the responsible accounts. We report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority, as applicable. We handle safety records and any legally required preservation in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law, and cooperate with lawful requests from relevant authorities.
